FAQS & POLICes

Thanks for visiting my online shop. I really appreciate your interest in my Pottery. Please take a moment to review the following information, it may help answer many of the questions that you may have about my policies and care of your pottery.

ABOUT YOUR POTTERY… All my pottery is hand built or thrown in my home studio, by me. Each piece is unique due to being created one piece at a time. Slight differences in size, shape and color may occur, making each piece one of a kind. I will of course do my very best to pair items appropriately.

CARE OF YOUR PURCHASE…All of my pottery is food, microwave and dishwasher safe unless otherwise noted. I recommend handwashing from time to time to keep your pottery looking and functioning at its best. Please avoid using abrasive detergents or cloths when washing. Use the same care when microwaving as you would with the oven. Items will be hot and remain so for a while. Avoid drastic changes from hot to cold to avoid thermal shock.

SHIPPING…Orders will be shipped within 2 business days through USPS Priority Mail. Shipping is a $12.00 flat fee plus $2.00 for each additional item. Confirmation emails are automatically sent out when your item ships. If you do not receive an email, please contact me at Sgill.ceramics@outlook.com. I do not currently ship internationally. I additionally offer a pickup option at check out for local customers. Lastly, I do reuse shipping materials rather than discard them.

ORDERS…All sales are final. In the case of an item arriving broken through the shipping process, please contact me within 2 days of receipt. Send me a photo so that I can arrange for a replacement. Hold on to the item until the postal insurance has processed. If you are unhappy with your purchase, I will do my best to accommodate . Any shipping and return shipping are not refundable.

SPECIAL ORDERS…I do accept small special orders with a turnaround time of about 4 weeks. Please contact me via email.
